Hair Color

Okay, so I told my mom I wanted highlights in my hair, red highlights. My mom is not very talented in dying hair, but I ask her anyway, seeing as my dad probably won't be that better. So I give her the dye, she follows the instructions, and...nothing shows up. Sure, my hair has a dark red tint to it, but you could hardly tell. It wasn't until I looked in the mirror to find out that the hair color I wanted, appeared in one random spot under my hair.......FAIL........
